Position:  HIPAA Systems Analysts/Project Lead

Candidate should have minimum 5 years of technical leadership experience in Medicaid area in Legacy mainframe systems. Familiarity with different sub-systems in Medicaid and HIPAA transaction sets is must. Experienced in Matrix team environment. Analytical thinking. Ability to deal with ambiguity. Position:  Desktop Roll Out Technician

Description:  Mid-sized Southern California data center is looking for a Desktop Technician to set up 20 PC’s at the end of January.  The work can be completed over a weekend.  LRAI is willing to pay per diem for an overnight stay if it is needed to get the job completed.

Here is a general list of the work we would need done in the office:

  • Un-box and setup 10 office PC’s on desks.  
  • Connect these PC’s to the second Ethernet port on the ShoreTel VoIP phones.
  • Boot PC’s and test connectivity. 
  • Un-box and setup 10 lab PC’s- all in a single room – and connect to Ethernet switch located in that room.
  • Connect lab printer to lab Ethernet switch and configure IP information.
  • Connect the Lab Ethernet switch to wall jack and patch into Enterasys A2 switch in data rack.
  • Connect HP MFP in program manager’s office to network and fax line and configure printer with IP and fax information.
  • Connect large OCE MFP to the network, configure IP address information.  Connect fax line to OCE and configure the faxing function.
  • Connect external Buffalo drive to the A2 data switch in data rack and power on.  Drive will just sit in the data rack itself.
  • Possible misc work – connect the DSL router to the A2 switch if not already done

Position:  Microstation Draft Engineer  (Part-time Telecommuting job)

Description:  Large California corporation has 2 – 4 contract openings for Draft Engineers.  There is a backlog of drafting/engineering work and they need to add 2 - 4 consultants to their group through the end of 2009 and potentially through 2010.  Expect to work from 10 - 30 hours per week, depending on your skills and availability.  A laptop will be provided and work can be completed at home.  Work is project based and you will be given multiple concurrent projects.  One day of on site training will be required to get you up to speed on corporate procedures and design standards.

A minimum of 3 years AutoCad and 2 years Microstation work experience is REQUIRED.  You must have a minimum of 1 year experience in engineering drafting on either underground work or utilities.  This is NOT a design engineer level position.  You will work with design engineers and project managers to meet the project requirements and deadlines.
